Accommodation and Travel

Accommodation

The primary location for all Conference activities, as well as accommodation for Conference participants, will be at the Toronto Eaton Centre Marriot. Located at 525 Bay Street, in the heart of downtown Toronto, our host hotel is close to major attractions and public transit, including options to reach Union Station and Toronto's airports.

TD is pleased to cover the cost of each delegate's accommodation and meals for the duration of the conference, along with costs associated with conference materials and planned social events.  

The Toronto Eaton Centre Marriott is about 20 minutes to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, where both Porter Airlines and Air Canada fly into. It is roughly 40 minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport which is a large international airport.

Travel

If you are a 2023 Scholar, we will book your travel arrangements. A representative from Carlson Wagonlit Travel will be reaching out to you shortly to begin this process. It is important that you look out for their email and reply promptly.

If you are a 2022, 2021, or 2020 Scholar, you are responsible for booking your own travel arrangements to Toronto. TD will reimburse you for your travel expenses at economy level, provided that you are traveling from within North America. Please retain all receipts for reimbursement. A follow-up email will be sent shortly on the process for reimbursement.

If you are a Scholar from 2019 or earlier, you are responsible for booking your own travel arrangements. TD will reimburse you up to $400. Please retain all receipts for reimbursement. A follow-up email will be sent shortly on the process for reimbursement.

If you are in a position to pay for your own travel, please consider this gesture as a form of support for the program and for the conference. It would be greatly appreciated.
